Alina Zagitova

That’s what I was wondering too.

Maybe technical controller check team? Would be nice if they were judges, they seemed so into it and followed her every move.
Yup, they really seemed to like her performance. And it's no wonder, just imagining watching her live gives me chills [emoji4]

I think some members mentioned before ( in The Edge I think, when the subject of wrong edges was discussed ) that judges do watch the practices. And I am sure they always leave with a great impression about Alina because she usually shines even during her practices [emoji4]

It seems that Alina has lost some weight or still grows on height from what I saw on the videos. Either way I think she finally managed to adjust to her body changes because her jumps seem very very clean in comparison to the ones at the beginning of the season. I didn't see any URs and there were lovely running edges out of the 3Lz-3Lo in the SP practice video  and the Axels. Big thanks to the person who took that video - it gives a closer look at her skates. I am not an expert but I see a lot of improvements in her Skating skills - her StepSq was for the first time really great, not rushed, no steps were skipped, good edge control. There wasn't an impression that she's about to loose her balance anymore. She still needs some work on to her cross overs and gaining speed but if this is the only thing one could take on her..well, she's doing perfectly well! I just wanted to give her some credit for her training, I definitely see that they are refining her skating skills and that the jumps are not the only focus. Hopefully TAT takes this into consideration and doesn't throw some shade on Alina ;) Best of luck to the entire team, fingers are crossed for seeing Carmen on the top of the podium!

Guys...

First thank you for all welcome posts! I read everything and I am so excited to be part of the forum..
BUT FIRST..
I am LOST and desperate lol I can't find a place to watch it live, and I made a mistake with the schedule and I am totally lost about what time it starts or if already happened..

Please help me....any live link? The links you guys sent me is not working...thank you!

Dear bewitched, I wish you good luck on all your exams and I am sure you will become an amazing doctor![emoji7]

I totally get it, that was my way of forgetting about this pre competition anxiety, watching old videos and constantly reminding myself just how amazing Alina is [emoji4]

On a totally different note, today my boyfriend proposed to me and I was so eager to share this with you because it happened here, on our city break in Vienna, while we were skating, even tough I am not so good at it, he knows I simply love it with all my heart [emoji4] and after the entire event, when he asked me again...are you sure?[emoji16] I told him, yes, I am so sure as I am about the fact that Alina is the best lady skater from this planet. And this was the most convincing answer I could give him [emoji4]

I'm joining the ranks of gratulants, our Ballerina, if you find the right person it's the best thing that can happen in life, being in two :clap::clap:

Well, juniors can be seen on ISU youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbv3gsBXzIwotCt2JGySfJA

As for the seniors incl. Alina, there must be some good person who posts the link for stream, possibly somewhere on ok.ru. The links are posted in competition threads, as those threads are for premium users, someone can link it here too. I will try to wake up early, as sr. ladies are beginning on 6 a. m. in my timezone, when I'm getting up and going to work and post it here, but only if I manage to wake up early and catch it before leaving.

Hello everyone, this is Ângela!

I finally got tired of being a creep/stalker and decided to create an account on Golden Skate.
I've been following you guys for a long time so I already feel like I know many of you which is undeniably weird but try to think of it in a sweet way :)
Figure skating is something that I always enjoyed but would only watch randomly when I casually saw it on tv. However, something changed when I saw Alina performing for the first time at the GP final 2017, I felt compelled to know more about that beautiful red ballerina whose technical skills and adorableness were off the charts. From then on, I started following her with passion and I now I root for her as a parent would root for his child, it's an indescribable feeling (but you all know exactly what I'm talking about).
Thank you all for keeping me updated about her and please welcome me to this amazing family!

P.S. - I think I'm another addition to the forum's multiculturality since I'm portuguese and I haven't seen anyone else here from Portugal.
P.S 2 - Can anyone teach me how to change my avatar? :scratch2:

Thank ALL you so much!

Somehow I made a mistake with the schedule. When I read the ISU page, instead of Local time, I understood 9:30pm London time! LOL and I got crazy!

Hopefully some great soul post it here before it starts. At least before Alina perform! Hahaha...

Is there any american sport's channel broadcasting it online? I could watch with vpn. Thank you all again!!
