I think that's a good place for her to skate. Not first after the warmup, so she'll get a full warmup, but not last, so she won't have to watch everyone skate before her

By the way, I like the new jacket. Burgundy red (the jacket) and dark blue (the Olympic sweatshirt from some ceremonies) are her colours.

I don't see she give her that much different score than the others? Yea, she is probably not her biggest fan, but it's common that differences are bigger.

The PCS she gave Alina was the highest.

Couldn't agree more! I think it's quite awful to skate the last because of nervousness so 22 is a good position!

the over the boots tights are back lol whyyy i thought we were finally rid of them. maybe they are lucky for alina :think:

The reason is to keep her laces from untying. Most skaters who don't pull their tights over their boots use tape or plastic wrap, Alina has been using those so far this season, but maybe she forgot them or they were uncomfortable so she went back to tights.

I am rare fan who likes tights over boots so I don't mind as much.

Hello again!
Today we had some trouble trying enter the arena to watch the ladies morning practices, bit some angry ladies manage to convince the guards to let us in.
As always, Alina was flawless today and looking right in point for today's SP, I've never seen such a beautiful 3F before and she wasn't coughing.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any flowers to buy in the arena.

Even the skirt seemed different - a little more tutu-ish.

in Program Components she/he gave 7 and only one 8.

75 is dissapointing. Were they scoring low? I saw her SP on youtube and it was very good with 1 mistake. She needs to score higher at worlds. 75 will not get it done there.

75 with an underrotated 3Lo (which got 0 GOE too btw) and a small mistake on the 3F. I consider that a very good score. Imagine how it will be when she‘s completely clean? Her PCS would rise too. If she‘s saving her best SP for Worlds, I‘m all for it.

I'm hoping she's saving her best SP AND LP for Worlds!!!!
