This is not a sad post, there is no sad post possible for someone winning a Silver Medal.
Congratulations to our 2019 European Championship Silver Medalist!
I want to apologise for not doing my best performance today. The best is yet to come for me.
Alina keep fighting!!!
Vadim Gushchin: "It would have been easier for both of them if Medvyedeva had won Gold and Zagitova Silver at 2018 Olympics"
"Medvyedeva wouldn't have such a conflict and Zagitova not so much pressure"
Ashley Wagner said some very kind words about Alina in her Instagram story![]()
What did she say?
she couldn't remember Viveca's last name at all.She said that people should keep in mind when watching Alina perform that Alina was just 15 when she won the Olympics and that there is a lot of pressure on Alina at every competition, which is really hard to deal with and that Alina just needs to find ways to adjust to that for hopefully Worlds and the next season. Ashley seemed very understanding and empathetic for what Alina is going through. What did she say?
Just that Alina won the Olympics at 15, which is hard and puts pressure on her, and that she needs to find herself for next season or for Worlds.
Not gushing, not mean.
Ashley was very happy about Sofia and Viveca thoughshe couldn't remember Viveca's last name at all.

Yesterday training spoke for itself and each person chose to see what they want. I watched the wrong approach of her coaching team towards her. She didn't/doesn't deserve to be treated like that. Each time Alina went for feedback she was scolded and the looks and the manners... which obviously derived in Alina to be upset and frustrated.
Thanks to the beautiful audience that tried to cheer her up and brought a smile.
Today skating is the consequence of this attitude towards her and many other things. I hope her parents step up and choose what is better for her, because those training methods are not working on her.
This is Alina's thread so yes i am defending her, not her coaches.
And who do you think made it possible for Alina to get this far? We can't know anything about the true nature of the dynamics of the relationships within the team. Jumping to conclusions by watching some video is nonsense...
Now that the competition is over....
Don't forget to change your avatar back to a certain underappreciated kitty kat!
Here we go!Iriska is back and looking forward to see Survivor on Sunday!

Sorry but watching her performance today under the 200 marks means something is wrong and has to be fixed not only by Alina but also by her coaches.
