That depends. The key is when they will be able to get back on the ice again and how far she got pre-covid. In case she would already land it, even once, it can work as a psychologic effect in going back. Also, it seems like there will be no shows, which means once she get on the ice, it will be mostly uninterupted time. No two weeks of prsctices followed by two or more on shows.
I also think coming back will be hard for every skater and it will be extremely difficult to just maintain the quality of the jumps they had pre-break. So more likely there will be no jump upgrade or how season goes. On the other hand .. if they manage to start somewhere around the summer than it will most likely be the longest uninterupted time since pre Olympic. Depends on so many factors, and learn it will be now harder than ever. But she also might be “hungry” for more. We’ll see, to be honest I’m just looking forward to see her skate. I wish she could learn quad so she can keep winning and making the team easily, which for her must be important to matter what, she is used to it, but as a fan, I know her program will be mesmerising quad/3A or not. She is improving so much, no matter whether it’s on skating and artistry or difficulty.:luv17:
