So, I wake up to the spectre of Paul's moustache being raised and wonder if I'm really still caught up in a nightmare ...I ranted a blue streak about those costumes at the time, but you were all spared since I either didn't have a computer, or was still too shy to talk ..
What was that ,
blue dog ?..I got "Forbidden"..is that a comment on the costumes.?
Math..I don't mind the
idea of hats , as long as they stay on,

.. but that was too dark, too drab and hid her face..Hated the plaid-ish / checked fabric of the skirt , the sleeves combined with the hat made her seem to have no neck at all, and no one mentions that she appears to have ruffles on her pants.. it seemed to be a mish-mash of eras. Just wrong . Wouldn't she have looked better in a tea dress ? I think they started out saying Paul was a waiter, for some reason,( but may have dropped that ) and in the end, as well as being unflattering, nothing tied that dance to the music , for me.
If Skate Canada keeps an eye on costumes, who fills this role , one person , or a committee ? Who decided on C/P's costumes for ER..Maryjane Stong, or was she simply executing someone else's idea? The costumes weren't flattering, IMO. They may have been better than many things we'd seen Vanessa and Paul suffer with in the past, but really had nothing to do with anything. They neither evoked any feeling, nor fit with the season-long evolving storyline / explanation of the program. ( And why, oh why , was no initial attention paid to the SD costumes ?)
How did a travesty such as R/H's Cinderella costumes get the nod ?..Do they only focus on the top one or two couples , while maybe just keeping a general eye out for any egregious nudity ?
If SC indeed scrutinizes costumes , they need a better scrutineer.
Oops! Interruption.
