American Idol - Season 7

I found it all so boring. No one really sang that great. Maybe the first week should not have been a 60's theme. My favorite so far is Michael, the australian guy!!

He's Jason Castro, not sure I spelled his name right though. He was definitely one of the better. Last night show was pretty boring. I wish there would be more girls than guys in top 12. I'm surprised how many of the top 12 guys are...feminine.

Dreadlock Boy was Jason Castro.

I'd put him in my personal top 6 (male side) along with Robbie, "Little David", Michael, and Colton. The 6th spot is still open as far as I'm concerned; there's a couple of 'em who I think have the potential to do better.

Garrett, however, has GOT. TO. GO.

Last night was a milestone in that I finally got my cousin to watch AI for the first time. Robbie seems to be her favorite so far, but she was freqently appalled -- not necessarily by the singing, but by the hair. She thinks there are is a stylist or two on the AI set who should be fired immediately. A couple of the guys, she could have cared less how they sang, their hair was so annoying she wanted them to pack and go immediately!!

The hair stylists have yet to begin their work & of course it has to be with the singer's agreement. I'd like to point out that there are 3 Davids in the top 12 so you want to be sure we know who you are talking about...Archuleta, Cook or Hernandez. Archuleta is the little boy.

The guys look too much like teens, for my tastes. And I like younger men. At least the last dude to sing was good and looked like an adult old enough to drink, drive and vote.

I missed some of last night so I can't do a top three list, although I must say Michael is pretty darn hot!!! Tonight my order is Ramiele, Carly and Asia'h (in that order). I can't believe how well those girls did when they have broncitis and bad flu bugs ....

Did anyone else recognize David Archuletta from Star Search a few years back? He was a youth finalist who came in second. He has an amazing voice and I like his personality......42

I found out who David Archuleta was a few days ago. From the audition on, it bugging the crap out of me that he looked so familiar. I was like, "I KNOW him!" He was a baby on star search, and he wasn't my fave on there, but he's totally grown since, then. I do want to adopt him, btw. lol

I did the same thing. I knew David A. looked and even sounded familiar. I was a big fan of Star Search and wondered what became of that talented young man. Now we know!! I'll be power voting for him from now on.......42

I heard all the men but wasn't really watching, and I only saw the women on the "results" show...totally forgot it was on Wed. night and forgot to tape it.
I have to say I agree with who went home. There are a few more guys I'm not real thrilled about but I have to see more of the women to make any kind of personal decisions there.

Well, at least Garrett's gone, tho I'm kinda bummed about Colton; I think he had potential.

As to the ladies, I didn't actually watch them sing, but just the 3-second clip of Amy Davis destroying "Where The Boys Are" was MORE than enough for me to be glad she got kicked off. Connie Francis had a one-of-a-kind voice, and 95% of those contestants, regardless of how talented, would do well to just not even go there......

I don't remember who said it, but one the judges said it was a Patsy Cline song. I was like, huh? lol
