American Idol - Season 7

next week is going to be sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring for a finale

kinda like season's 3 finale... nothing to write home about... *yawn*

I didn't see much of the final 3. But I hope it goes down to Syesha and David Cook. I called in lots of votes to David C. I was a little scared about how easily I got through...either no one else was voting for him or they had LOTS of lines available!

They had 3 lines apiece last night. I am fine with either of the 3 winning. Any comments on Syesha's Fever number. I liked it.

I think it will be the 2 David's in the finale and I agree it is probably going to be boring = very perdictable == as for Syesha = I didn't like any of her songs

I thought Fever was a lot of fun... the judges have been pushing her for weeks that "Broadway type showy numbers" are her niche. Then she takes that advice and they rake her over the coals. BLAH.

It's gonna be the two davids... *shrugs* maybe I'll watch something else.

I was really hoping it'd be Syesha and David C.

I will stick it out and see who wins, but I might have to go out of the room while David A. sings. I am SO irritated by everything about him! Like nails on a chalk board!

I kind of know how you feel, I felt that way about Taylor Hicks and the beat box guy last year, ugh!!!

Fantasia the movie was great but.....

Fantasia the singer? Ewwww.....even the look on Simon's face said everything. She is terrible. I can't believe she was the American Idol winner a couple of seasons back. They must have been hard up for talent. I had to turn to a different station while she was screaming. Talk about "nails on a chalk board." At least David A. can sing!!!

This season was better than last year but still fairly blah in the end. We had no amazing female contestants and the best person got eliminated far too early.

Oh well, not everyone agrees with the music industry. I won't be rushing out to purchase her cds. Thank goodness there is a wide range of talent to choose from.

I am surprised that no one has made a comment regarding last nights show. As I have said before I like both of the guys so whoever wins is OK with me. The only thing I wanted to say about last nights show is that I wished Cook had blown everyone away. He seemed almost a little out of it last night.

I think David A. is the definitive "American Idol" material over David Cook. I see David Cook in a rock group as the front man. On the other hand, I can see David Archuletta becoming the next "American Idol" star - but hopefully, he will be able to develop his own style. He is a good singer but does need some guidance with his career - is David Foster in the house? Hey another David!

My hubby did not care for David A's rendition of "Imagine." I liked both his other numbers.

We will all find out tonight who the winner is!!

Well, I'm finally tuning in this season for the finale. I noticed Marissa Jaret Winokur of DWTS/Hairspray in the audience. Many of the stage dancers were former competitors/top 10 on past seasons of So You Think You Can Dance (i.e. Lauren, Lacey, Hawke, and Dom - gotta keep my eyes open on the rest.)
