4/5 skaters (Nakai, Glenn, Watanabe, Yoshida, Dupuis) landed (or at least being capable) 3A in 2025 GPS.

So what? They routinely lose to skaters without 3A.

My comment about the triple axel was that eventually it will be the jump they all need to have to stay competitive. However - I added on that was the way figure skating was developing. Liken it to quads for the men. It's kind of the natural progression with the sport - increased difficulty. But - I also said it's only a jump and quite frankly the rest of the program has to be very good and clean.

Ami naki will do fine on gp and looking forward to her.

As far as go she is heavy favorite in France. At skate america . She could win. It depends on how well alyssa us.
She us her main competition besides amber.

By season best scores she could win both of her gp events.
She is heavily favored to medal.
Her main competition in Skate Canada is Isabeau Levito and Nina Petrokina
However Jia Shin and Dofia Samodelinka could surprise along with her country womem.
In Skate america shecwill be up against Alysa Liu Nina Petrokina Isabeau levito Rioni Sumiyoshi Rinka watanabe Haein Lee. She should medal.
She do well but focus on her goals. Not on others expectations

Mao Shimada as 4 time junior world champ virtually unbearable in juniors comes in with expectations and very high hopes on her senior debut

Mao Shimada is good enough to win go events and final in her first senior debut.
She has tough competition from her own country women and others

I wouldn't be surprised is she does.

As long as Mao maintains her triples jumps and triple axel consistently as she has been doing in juniors she would be unstopable in seniors, her quad toe it's just a plus to her program, her triple axel it's a more important jump which she has been doing even in her worst days
