Anastasia Mishina & Aleksandr Galliamov

Yes, of course. :)

Q: Guys. What did you lose on the ice?
AG: I went for the scarf. But thanks to the arena workers, they picked it up and laid on a chair for me not to run back. But who knew it…

Q: Tamara Nikolaevna Moskvina asked Anya Shcherbakova to switch for the pairs. Don’t you want to switch for singles in that case, Nastya?
AG: No way, I won’t let her go.
AM: I’m afraid, no. They won’t accept me.

Q: And if Eteri Geogrievna asks?
AM: Then, forgive me, Sasha.
G: Only after my death.

Q: The World Team Trophy is ahead. Will you be able to add the gold there to your WC gold?
AG: Now we are going to continue preparation and there we will show everything and you will see.

Q: We will root for you. Thank you.
AM &AG: Thank you.
Crossposting the translation of the interview Nastya and Sasha did after their skate at the Tutberidze show!

What Sasha said was so sweet🥺 It's the little things like this that make me SO happy they have each other (and especially for her to have such a supportive partner in Sasha!)

Congrats Nastya and Sasha on winning WTT with Team Russia!
Today they just beat their own free skating TES record, plus I believe that their 3S-eu-3S with +1.20 GOE is now the highest valued jump combo in current pairs skating!

Both programs are kind of right up their alley. Funky and more high drama.
I agree with you. Really excited to see what they skate to next season!
I get the feeling a lot of top pairs will go down a classical/warhorse route, if M/G skate to something different I think it would help them stand out (even more than they already do).

I would love to see them with a slower program. They tried with Je Suis Malade, which is not the best option, so at least they won't try it again. But they have it in them, especially him, the power to make something super high drama and more on the obscure side. I'd love that. Bring something different to the Olympics.

And let's be real, their FS this season was a bit cheesy and on the nose, but it was also a palate cleanser from the more interpretative demanding programs we had. I think they need to play to their strenghts, give them quirky characters and something fun to do. I hope Tamara can guide them toward that.

Happy birthday to Nastya 🌹🌷💐

Hi @flanker. Daria? You mean Nastya of course.

I have just been working on some Fanfests for certain Dutch Skaters, and only through doing that found out that Alexandr had actually skated with one of the girls of the two pair teams. Not Daria though, but Nika Osipova. I'm sure the more knowledgeble of Russian Pairs could (and probably) have told me that a long time ago, but I still was surprised!
