That short program...Oh dear. I think she was nervous going into it (I'm fairly certain this is her first senior nats, so that's probably why) and seeing her so upset was heart-wrenching. I was tearing up a bit, although part of that might've been my screen brightness, lmao. The audience was supportive of her, at least. Her short is a tough program, but she did her best and I hope she makes a comeback in the free! I think she can do it, Anastasia is made of tough stuff and her free skate is incredible. Best of luck in a couple of hours!

Oh I know!
Sad thing is it even wasn't that huge a mistake it's just the Russian ladies field is so deep! Seeing her crying in her coach's arms was terrible.Unfortunately I won't be able watch the FS live it's on way too late for me, but Rock Moonlight Sonata is so perfect for Nastya, I'm sure she can have a fantastic skate and really get the audience going.

Thought she was underscored a bit, but still a new SB in the FS. Just glad to see her happy after she looked so sad after her SP yesterday.

Nastya’s free skate was amazing, and I’m really tired of her getting lowballed on PCS so much, she should be getting at least 7 points more imo.

Hopefully her coaches can make her see that she needs to ignore the scores and embrace the effort. She has a bright future and if she keeps plugging away she will get the respect she deserves.
I’m hoping for one more year as a Junior and she just slays everything
She should do a Star Wars program and portray a sith lord exacting revenge on all her enemies!!

Tarakanova had the 4th highest TES (ahead of all the senior skaters) but the 3rd lowest PCS score. Just mind boggling.
