Her PCS is low. It's been quite low for every SP of hers that I've seen this season. And well, I can't help but agree with that. She's got significantly weaker presentation in this SP than in 16-17, 15-16 and even 14-15 seasons. I really hope it's just a program issue and she'll get it back if she switches to a more suitable program because her FS doesn't have very great presentation either this season.
 
You can tell she is really feeling this program!!! That 3f-3t was so boss and the whole entrance into the Lutz with the walleys is perfection!


She might have the best SP costume in the game too :hap93:
 
I love this program! She looks really mature and classy. This is a proof that Nastia is not just an ice princess but can pull off different type of programs. Well done. But I guess I love her free program more, so I'm hoping for a perfect clean skate today!

But she definitely struggles with her stamina after puberty. After the free program you can see how she's hardly breathing. In the last season she was much faster and didn't look so tired at the end of the program. Also her arm movements in that program looked very empty and automatic.

Anyway, she's fighting and winning the second junior international trophy in a row. What a fighter. Yeah, competition is not so hard, but still. I can't imagine: one day you're flying on the ice, just gliding and showing how amazing you are. And in the next season you started to feeling heaviness and not enough stamina. But she has her time. She's still so young. I even can say her 3lz-3t combo became a bit secure. That's a good sign. But now, sometimes problems with axels show up: one time she does it gorgeous, another time - it's shaky and bad, as it was today.

Interesting to see Angel in the next season. Hope she'll be fine.
 
I didn’t notice any stamina issues here. I thought she looked great and stayed with the music all the way thru. That 3sal was glorious as was the loop and 3z-3t. She’s looking strong and I’m liking it!

Love this girl. I really do hope to see her last for a very long time. As far as I am concerned, none of the Russian ladies (junior or senior) can beat Anastasia's interpretation and softness. Her and Polina are my heart desire skaters. :love:

Indeed, not this season... I don't like either of her programs and her PCS has been extremely low this season(Might these two things be related? I think so~).

Still, hoping to see clean skates by her to gain momentum for the next season!
 
i really want her to go to JW but it is hard when you have 5 JGPF qualifiers and 3 of them eventually medalling there as your rivals. i am scared that she will get low PCS and GOE for sake of more successful junior skaters in JGP/JGPF
 
She did amazing, I truly think she has the best artistry in the world. And I'm so glad they got rid of the moves on the music transition.
Did she changed coaches?
 
Hoho wait I just saw that she did not changed her coach at all. Sorry for that lol.
 
Clearly has changed something. This SP was far beyond anything I have seen by her. And she no longer was disconnected - quite the opposite. If she can give this treatment to her fs as well it will be so wonderful.
 
Such a strong effort all around. Hold your head high Nastya because you did so well at Nationals this year. Her skating is just so strong and not too many can match her ability to control speed, edge, and feel of a program. You can feel her passion for the music and heart was in it. She definitely stood out this weekend in my mind. Well done!

On the real though....this girl changes her programs and layouts more than anyone I’ve ever seen. :whack:
