I don't know about the night before, but I voted for Oda. Because during his performances his mind glazes over and he forgets that he already did his three combos. So then he does another one and gets no credit for it.

I voted for Daisuke. Because he looks so nervous and after his skating all the stress comes out.
In Japan he couldn´t stop crying after his skating.

I'm not sure what boggler means. If it means boozer, I would say Yags, whom I saw hanging out at the 2003 DCWorlds at the bar over looking the skating, and always with a drink. I was amused because this was the first big int'l championship after his superb win SLC.
