Andrei Mozalev

At his BF% (or any skater), it is anatomically impossible to not lose muscular mass when losing weight. Their regimen aims to preserve as much of MM as possible, while dropping them to single digits BF. It's not that he gains bulk, it's that it's easier to see definition. That's what cut is all about and it's a dangerous game when it is sustained for this long, because canibalizing on muscular mass is inevitable. The simplest explanation why he is losing control by mid program is because he dropped too low, went too long too underweight and it impacts his energy level and endurance.
I would like to believe that Mozalev's problems are caused by technical or physiological reasons, it is much easier to fix than to remove the psychological block... Let's hope for the best, that's all we can do.

Tomorrow Andrei will share his playlist with us, where in addition to the kid's rap, there's bound to be something interesting. I have Shazaam, YouTube, vevo and wikipedia open in my tabs, so I hope I'm prepared enough! :rolleye:

Andrei Mozalev and Sofia Akatieva pose with fans today in Novosibirsk.

Yes, Andrei, we appreciated your level of tact: for the sake of Tutberidze's show you found in your closet a jacket from the jumping festival with the inscription "Team Tutberidze". A small thing, but it puts the team in a positive mood.

God bless Alina Zagitova's fans, as always, and give them a new video camera. Full recording of the show in Omsk, Andrei's performance:

"Where are you?"

Heart Cry

I have to note with regret that the video doesn`t really transmit the atmosphere of the show, it looked much cooler live. Happy that I was able to watch it at G-drive arena

A bit of explanation for yesterday's news. Andrei has long had plans to learn hip-hop dancing, and his fanclub, represented by the eternal stalwart Lelya Romanova, helped him to carry out these plans. They brought from Moscow to St. Petersburg one of the most original Russian hip-hop dancers, Roman Suptelya, and arranged a master class for all the senior members of Davydenko Band (I can see Arseniy Dimitriev, Ivan Ramsenkov and others on the video). Very likely, soon we will see some footage from the master class and new dance moves from the skaters.

Andrei's Telegram Channel:
I always find time to read, even during breaks between workouts.
And yes, I read in the locker room 😉

Good news from Andrei's Instagram: he will take part in Alexei Mishin's show "Generation M" on June 17 in Krasnodar

Russian sports journalist Konstantin Lesik, who came to the chess tournament in Astana, Kazakhstan, on a free day went to the ice arena and asked the Kazakh skaters who foreign figure skaters are role models for them. The skaters and coaches named Anna Shcherbakova, Kamila Valieva, Yuzuru Hanyu and Andrei Mozalev.
