It was a glorious hunt!
Problems with undercurls on quadruple jumps are still here and Andrei's 3A is extremely unstable and ready to play tricks on him, as in this case, and there is still a lot of work to be done here, but nevertheless he proved his top status. Andrei placed 6th at the national championships not least because of the new trend to support guys with high sliding and presentation skills.
It is not yet entirely clear whether it will be a main list or a reserve list, but Andrei will be in the national team for the 2026-2027 season. Welcome back, Andrei!

Tutberidze about Mozalev: he performed the maximum program at the Russian Championships
Coach Eteri Tutberidze commented on the sixth place of figure skater Andrei Mozalev at the Russian Championships.
