Lovely SP, but I still think ice dance is a better option if he is interested in competing longer vs moving to coach.

Damn, I was in a lot of pain. It wasn't as bad as he'd had, though.
Life goes on though, let's not suffer through bad skating. The high season is just beginning.

I would like to say that Andrei got two gorgeous programs this season, which adorn and inspire him. This season he is very well “packed” and should please the judges. I think he has the best set of short program and free program among all Russian men.

I definitely like his mood, maybe he needs to work on his physical condition, just still skating these programs for a while.

Well, yesterday Krasnoyarsk ice was cruel to men. I watched it all live, sitting in the audience. I really liked the second half of the program. Andrei, despite everything, pulled himself together and danced his dance cheerfully. It was great.
We wish you good luck in FP!

I think we can say his salchow has improved so much,he lands everyone of them this season until now which was unbelievable in the past. There are some problems with toeloop instead, anyway that's so great!

In the previous season Andrei had only 1 fall from the quadsalchow, and it can be explained by accident (he went off a jump and hit a crack in the ice with his skate blade). This element has now become very stable. I attribute the problems with the quadtoeloop to either insufficient physical form or a changed technique of performing the element. Now Andrei, at the age of more than 20, is re-learning to jump many jumps with a new technique.

While I was enjoying figure skating in Kazan, an important event happened: Andrei Mozalev made his debut as a sports commentator. He commented live on the women's short programs at the Grand Prix stage in Japan. I liked the accuracy of his comments, respect for the athletes, attention to technical and aesthetic details.
He also talked a bit about his training. I hope he will be invited to commentate competitions often. He has a very pleasant voice :love4:
