Every day we have to say a little thank you to Inna for being the reason why Anna started skating in the first place!
Her whole family are just so down to earth and supportive, it's great to see!

This is how the warm-up hall of the main ice arena looks like. The gym is very good, there are many simulators. Treadmills, exercise bikes, plenty of space and good flooring suitable for jumping. There are also mats and massage rollers in common use, which everyone can take and use. By the way, this is very convenient. And, of course, water.

Has to be. It's tough for Sasha but that sports and that's life. Anna has earned this and it would be fitting if the team gold medal came down to her clinching it.
It would be insulting for her to be the only reigning world champ to not compete in the Team event.

Indeed. If Kamila were to perform both programs in the team event it would recall shades of Yulia/Adelina in 2014... and if that's the case, beware of Anna's revenge.

I don't think we need to draw parallels to other Olympics, the relationships and the dynamics are completely different every time. Anna will skate the Team Event if she is asked and she will do her best, but if not, she will not change her attitude or preparation towards the individual event

What? They're going to run KV into the ice when they don't have to? Strange. So sorry for Anya one of the most clutch skaters Russia has ever had. Does she have some minor injury we don't know about? KV should tell the officials I don't want to skate the free. This is ridiculous it's overkill. the team gold won't even be up for grabs when the ladies team event free skate start so why not run Anna or Sasha out there to give them a freaking gold?

So who is skating dance and Pairs free skates? Dance was only supposed to use one team because they kept their number two team at home training because they weren't going to be in the team event.
Poor Anna this is shocking especially since the team gold medal should be wrapped up by the ladies team free skate or close to being wrapped up and any of these fantastic three girls could seal the deal on the team gold.

I don't like that at all because with coronavirus raging and skaters testing positive if the leaders in the four Russian disciplines have a problem with covid then the second skaters in all four disciplines for Russia will not have skated and that's not good. I'm surprised they are doing this they have the gold medal in the bag and they can get other skaters a gold medal for life but they don't give a damn.
Decisions like this by the Russian Federation puts a cloud over their team gold medal for me. The team gold medal will be in the bag by the time the ladies free skate so why not put Anna in?
It is what it is and I think I like the team event less that I did the first two times it was in the Olympics.

I'm so stunned by this I never thought in a million years they would not sub anybody. I thought Anna was a given. Especially since the gold medal in a team event is in the bag for Russia. What they are doing is wearing out their top pairs team who struggled tonight and had a bad fall and KV does not need an extra skate at this point in the season. And it's not like the team gold medal was on the line for Russia this thing is game set match done. Really not sharing the team gold medal is appalling on many levels. This reminds me of 2014 when they screwed Adelina out of her team gold medal. She and Julia were very equal and for all that Adelina had done for 3 or 4 years to not get the skate in the team event when Russia was a certainty for the team gold was unbelievable. This is worse because Adelina ended up with the individual gold medal and Anna has a big uphill battle for that. I certainly hope she can do it now. Although I don't want to take this out on a 15 year old.I'm so upset that Anna wasn't chosen for the team event. It's not fair.
I'm rooting for her to win the game individual GM although it's unlikely.
