On the other hand there are other sports that have both individual and team competition, like artistic gymnastics or even fencing. Though I bet many of those were invented to sell more of the broadcasting time.
Fencing, for example, is a new duel every time, improvisation, and very fast at that. And in figure skating, in any case, you need to show two programs, each of which is the result of long hard work throughout the season. Artistic gymnastics - certainly, similar, but even there the performance itself lasts, as far as I remember, no more than two minutes.

Physical fatigue causes random errors, and in some cases one such error destroys the entire program. In addition, speed + ice can turn one small wrong move into a disaster (for example, this morning only miraculously managed to avoid this).

If the break between team and individual competitions could be made longer - then who knows. And so, for example, I am afraid that Kondratyuk may disrupt his performance after such a triumph, and this will be not good for him. Not everyone has such great opportunities as Kamila.

Are they doing draws for the FS? If not, wouldn't it just be who ever places lowest in the SP:laugh:
No, the FS start order is the reverse of SP rankings. The SP groups are separated by world rankings and then I believe they do a draw within those groups.

Anna continues her vlog:
This is a recut version of that instagram video you posted earlier as "Anna's observations of the specifics of the olympic competition for 1TV". The differences are: 1) it's a shorter video; 2) the questions that were asked to Anna are not shown on the screen; 3) A short fragment is inserted in the middle, in which Anna says that she is a little worried every time she takes a covid test. Therefore, she tries not to think about it until the results are obtained.
