For pointers : Anthony's first language is obviously French. Young people, when they learn English, use a lot of colloquial terms obviously, including some mild swearing. I did that too until I realized that it could be offensive for native English speakers. I just wanted to let you know that I doubt that he is fully aware that some people would find his English "rough". His English is pretty good, and once he learns not to use the B word at the beginning of every sentence (something we see a lot in pop culture - I guess he watches some of these reality TV shows from the USA), it will be even better

Just thought I needed to let you all know, in case some of you didn't get this particular colour of English spoken a lot by young francophones

I am hoping that "electrocution" is a translation issue, and Anthony is referring to an EKG (which this looks like).

electrocution is the same thing in both languages... but the post is gone and I didn't see it.. so i have no idea

you'd be surprised at how many young athletes need to get their heart checked though...

my fave tennis player, FAA (Félix Auger Aliassime) even had to w/d from the US open a few years ago (tachycardia )

Ok.. simply play on words from Anthony.... as he is wired up... or plugged in... or electrocuted most people would use the first two expressions.

I think we are in for a strange road with this one his language is as colorful as his skating.

Anthony posted an Instagram stories that he was editing his Riga vlog and deleted everything. But he has the footage on his camera, so the vlog will be coming out, but not anytime soon. The electrocution story will have to wait.
