Well lets get ready to get angry.
Haha yes. I just watched her performance again and Christina Gao got a whopping 56.33 for her TES (I won't compare PCS, it's always lower for junior competitions) in the LP which is shorter and has less elements than a senior level LP. To put that in perspective, here are the TES scores of the competition from their LPs this season (keep in mind that senior level FS have 13 elements and one is a spiral
sequence, whereas junior level FS have 11 elements and one is only a lone spiral)
Ashley: GPF- 55.97, COR- 54.81
Rachael: SA- 60.35, CoC- 48.51
Mirai: SC- 51.69, CoC- 42.90
Alissa: SC- 46.57, COR- 45.98
Caroline: SC- 39.32, TEB- 47.89
Even with the extra elements, only Rachael's TES at SA, where she was awesome, is higher. I could potentially see Gao pulling a Mirai Nagasu and winning nationals should the contenders fail to step up their technical games.
