Joesitz, I looked at the performance at youtube because it seemed people thought it was a good one. I mistakenly looked up the CoR results and thought Arina had finished 4th in the FS (she was actually 4th in the SP), so I thought it would be a good performance.
That's why the comments. I still don't see anything special there. It isn't as if the girl hasn't competed much, because she has had a string of recent competitions, none of which was a standout. Heck, that CoR FS was a personal best!
I am sure Arina will improve in the future and I might like her performances better, but this one wasn't much better than Christine Zukowski's at NHK, and Christine has far less international experience than Arina.
