@gsk8 Thank you so much for this series of interviews with pronisinng juniors from around the globe, especially ice dancers and pairs. I would imagine that Sofia's visa/citizenship situation is a real tangle in these times, with the additional burden that she does not get to see her family in Moscow often. She seems to be facing the challenges with a positive spirit.

I enjoyed the mention of their coach Elizaveta Nemtsova. Nemtsova was their coach (not far distanced from her own competitive career) in Belgium and she made the move to the Sphilband - Camerlengo group (Chock and Bates' old coach/choreographer team) in Novi with them. The skaters credit her with providing continuity and the personal touch to their progress.

I, just as @Mathman, enjoy reading reading about upcoming youngsters, and a bonus for me because they're from Belgium, our friendly neighbour (partly even sharing a language). Good to know the Belgian federation is so supportive.

Glad they got their first outing underway. Unfortunately, they didn't do well in the RD at Lake Placid International, but finished second in the free dance.
