Carol Heiss Jenkins is about to be interviewed on CNN re her ticker-tape parade.
Some recent articles have mentioned/quoted her in the context of the 2015 USA WNT that won soccer's World Cup.
But I believe CNN will be her first TV interview (at present) on her place in the history of NYC ticker-tape parades.
(The parade for her was the only one solely for a female athlete. Photo: https://instagram.com/p/49l3H_m38S/.

ETA, correction: It was not the only one -- it was the most recent one.)
ETA:
The interview was short, but it was great to see CHJ recognized. She looked and sounded terrific.
The letter from CHJ to the WNT and the article about her on the US Soccer site:
IN and the WSJ also have published articles about CHJ leading up to today's parade.
