I am a real fan of Caroline and Michael. I just don't think they found the right vehicle for their Rhythm dance. The tough girl look just doesn't suit Caroline. Maybe it helps to try different genres/looks but I am looking forward to the Free Dance - that's where they'll shine.

I see that Caroline and Michael have been named first alternates for Worlds. It gives me hope that usfsa has not given up on them and that this season has not clicked due to "chronic injuries" and programs that just didn't click. Although it's unlikely that they will be called to Montreal this March, I hope they are still in training mode and then have a restful but productive summer coming up with programs that best meet their strengths.

I think Caroline and Michael have great dances this year, after a few seasons of duds. I hope they can get their levels solid, and get back on a clear upward trajectory. Still keeping the faith for them! But also still loving other teams, as well. ID is so packed with talent! But Caroline and Michael just shine.

Check out this reel by Michael Parsons. I truly believe he is the most artistic and talented of the US male ice dancers at this time. I can’t wait to see what he and Caroline put out there this season and hope as many others do that the judging/scoring will be fair and impartial during this important competitive season.

I love the Save the Duck outerwear partnership that US Figure Skating announced today. I noticed they chose Michael Parsons to be front and center in the picture modeling the new shirt/logo. Love seeing him get promoted by US Figure Skating, and after all, he is definitely looking like model material after that amazing show program video.

I love their RD this year! I quite dislike the music of the FD but the program itself is exquisite. I'm very nervous for Nationals already, I think they absolutely should go to the Olympics but American ice dance is always crowded with talent
