Compulsory Dance

I've heard that the Waltz is very difficult. I'm sure they also didn't have much time to work on the CD in addition to a new FD. Besides, they are still very close to D/L.

GO Meryl & Charlie!

I just think that the compulsory dances are the weakest for B/A. But I just don't wnat them to get to weak come world championships so that they throw the titile away just for one phase of the competition.

I know ice dancingm you can come back easier but not that easy

Less than 1.00 difference for B&A is pretty good really. It's no surprise that D&L are ahead, and yes, it is the most technically demanding CD on the chedule, but B&A are very good Waltzers of old, and it would prove no problem for them, just a difference in maturity.

5th at Euros! ;)

To have a bigger gap between Nav/Bom and D&W than between D&W and B&A is pretty amazing all told, for a couple newly up from Juniors!

I can't decide! They both train right down the road from me, and I see them in a lot of local shows.

All US teams are 2 to 3 points below their scores of 2 weeks ago, but that is to be expected I guess...

No, I don't think the scores at Euros were inflated.

BTW, just been checking the results of Canadian Nats, and this couple came 3rd : Kaitlyn Weaver / Andrew Poje
Anyone know why they aren't competing here and Senft & Partner are?

Yes, and they have been competing all year on the junior, not senior circuit, which meant at nationals they had to debut an extra minute of FD. I'm sure now that they're going to senior worlds as well, they need some time to beef and up and practice that extra piece.
