The 2008 Coupe de Nice features a bunch of familiar faces, as six of the top nine finishers from the 2007 event will take the ice Oct. 16-19 in Nice, France.
He thinks that the fact that Tomas Verner is having some bad skates (Obersdorf) is a bad thing for Tomas. His image will be harmed, because "The Olympics are in only one year and you can't afford thoses kind of meltdown, you have to show that you are always at the top".

Their goal for the 2008-2009 season is to medal at Nationals and to earn an international assignment from the Indy Challenge. Their career goal is to make the 2010 U.S. Olympic team. Chloé and Joe also hope to have an injury-free season.
I agree! But K/S's score is low, they probably made some costly mistakes.

Brian Joubert announced two days ago that he would not participate in the Coupe de Nice, as he had intended. After a poor showing at the French Masters two weeks ago, where he lost to Alban Preaubert, Joubert had hoped that he could start his international season in Nice, just three weeks before his first Grand Prix assignment, the Trophée Eric Bompard.
