One month ahead of the 2018 Olympics, North Korea makes a surprise power move to take over South Korea. Pyeongchang 2018 becomes Pyongyang 2018. Singles skaters are not allowed to blink at all during the short program. The free program is performed to no music at all; only absolute silence is permitted. Yulia Lipnitskaya leads after the SP, where her death glare skills give her a massive advantage in the non-blinking contest over her peers. Actually, all but two of the competitors end up withdrawing by the end of the short, or are "eliminated" due to their inability to stop blinking. This gives Yulia an easy path to the gold medal. In the free program however, Yulia makes some uncharacteristic mistakes. Though she lands all of her quadruple jumps, she goes down on all three of her spins, including her signature inverted reverse twerk spin. The mistakes ultimately cost her the gold medal, which goes to Courtney Hicks of the USA. To her credit, Hicks laid it all out on the line in her free program, an emotional tribute to Führer Donald Trump choreographed to "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah" from the Disney animated classic Song of the South (sans actual music of course). Yulia is awarded the silver and the unclaimed bronze medals. However, shortly after the competition, it is discovered that Hicks tested positive for a banned substance as designated by the North Korean Anti Doping Agency. There is also footage showing Hicks consuming the illegal substance of food prior to the ladies event, which is grounds for disqualification from the competition. The gold medal is awarded to Yulia Lipnitskaya, now the simultaneous gold, silver, and bronze medalist of the 2018 Olympics in Ladies Figure Skating. However...the celebrations are short-lived. It is discovered that Yulia also consumed an illegal substance prior to competing in the games. Trace levels of the banned substance water are found in Yulia's blood by North Korean officials, and she is immediately stripped of all three medals. By default, the gold, silver, and bronze medals in Ladies Figure Skating are awarded to Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, who with great indifference decides to have them melted into bottle caps, which he collects.
