I was following a livestream for it and loving it, despite understanding basically nothing. Dai looked amazing.

I was able to watch via streaming. 2 hours glued to pc, lost in a wonderful world of enchanting magic and powerful passions.

I know nothing about Kabuki theater anyway all characters left me astonished. All skaters fit perfectly in their roles (Goddes Shizuka is awesome and Kana is simply lovely) and were able to act without words.

Dai.... no words can describe his performance. Fierce warrior, tormented soul, sensual and alluring female dancer and again fairless fighter. So proud of him and his talents.

I remember reading in past months HYOEN production planned a dvd with English subs for foreing market, to spread Kabuki culture overseas. Keep fingers crossed!!!

Finally Marnie, love that program! Is Dai wearing his Sochi Olympic FS costume :love:

Also his Turnadot costume looks familiar. I think he wore it briefly during the Eye season, can't recall
which competition though, He has so many costumes to choose from since he had such a long competitive career.

I don't think it is The Sochi costume, as it was different

To me it resembles more the Nats 2013 costume, without the two "coloured stripes" he had in the neckline. Anyway, this blouse follows Dai's trend during last season: sparkling but sober.

I love Dai's being so simple in outfit and at the same time so gorgeous!!

Yes, you are right: the Turandot costume was the one Dai used for Eye only once: during NHK 2009.

Many costumes, indeed, as he was used to change costume for same program during season.

Hi, I don't normally post on this thread but just wanted to say, I was there at GM2017 and I saw Dai perform for the first time! He was absolutely amazing and he performed Lilac Wine. Definitely one of the highlights of the show!
