Nice to see everyone skate well. D&L seem to have a better grasp of their footwork now. I am very excited over L&M. They could be great. I just wish they'd get a new choreagrapher. Morozov is good, but all his choreagraphy is staring to look the same. If they want to establish themselves, they really need to stand out. Will they be eligible for Worlds next year, or just the GPF?

Somewhat off topic, but I noticed Shae wearing a big fur coat. She really looked like a Russian coach.

Antilles, wow, when I saw Shae-Lynn in that coat, I had to rewind my tape and look at it again - I just couldn't believe it.

I too am really excited about L/M; they are already so exciting to watch, and when they get the rough edges worked out, which will come once they've had more time to skate together, I think they'll be phenomenal. I must say I agree about Morosov; I can spot one of his programs from a mile away. They all have the same look to them, especially of course in the footwork.

BTW, did anyone else notice a superficial resemblance between Chantal Lefebvre and Marina Klimova? I know it's the hair, but it really struck me when I was watching L/M last night.

I also really took notice of Lefevbre and Markov. This is the next Canadian pair to watch internationally. So much passion and very aggressive - loved them. They're still rough around the edges - as you'd expect in such a new team - but you can see the potential there for sure. On a side note - please get new costumes - please - his especially.

Dubreuil and Lauzon - I agree with the commentator - too busy. I hope they do well at worlds, but I also hope they get a program next year that's maybe a bit more fun.

I was really impressed with the junior pairs champions. I'd love to see them move up to seniors.
