I can't wait to see how Marlee does too. If Heather Whitestone, a former Miss America, can be a ballet dancer, then Marlee can be on DWTS.

Go Kristi!!! I was watching Dance Wars just to see the DWTS announcement and was jumping up and down when they announced Kristi. I know she will be great with Mark, but a part of me was hoping she would have been paired with Derek. Anyhow, I will definitely be voting for her.

It will be interesting to see how Kristi does with the ballroom dancing. I know she is so graceful, but ballroom is completely different then figure skating.

She knows what it means to fill space with movement, to project to the audience, and to use motion to reflect and to augment the character of the music. She knows the importance of the smallest detail in painting the whole canvas, plus she has complete mastery of her talent.

I am sooo excited about Kristi being on Dancing When I found out I told my boyfriend that we have to watch and vote. I even had friends calling me to let me know she was going to be on, and they know I dont watch Dancing, except for 1 season, but knew I loved Kristi.

We watched 2 seasons ago because Joey Fatone(who I am friends with) and Apollo Anton Ohno were on. I give my boyfriend credit, he stayed awake for most of the episodes. We also went to see Joey live when it was the top 4. Joey, Apollo, Leila Ali & the other guy. I was soo excited, they picked me to give my comments after the show to be televised, which they show inbetween numbers, however I lost my voice from screaming and couldnt talk when it was time I sounded like an 80 year old who had been smoking everyday of my life. Maybe we can go see her dance this seaon. Although I dont think my boyfriend will be able to take another season of it.

And I know I shouldnt do it, but all my votes are going to Kristi unless someone blows me away then they may get a vote or two.

Unfortunately I cant, they cut my part, Im assuming since I sounded soo bad with a raspy voice. Joey and my family thought it was great that I got picked then gave me a hard time when I didnt get shown.:disapp: Whats wrong with not being able to speak on camera after screaming? I thought it showed my enthusiasm. Guess not My boyfriend kept warning me to simmer down or Id lose my voice, what does he know?...alot What sucks is I called my mom, sister and best friend to tell them to watch. Needless to say they called the next day asking what happened.

They choose you to be filmed during commercial breaks and then they film those parts after the show is over while the dancers/celebrities do their press interviews. Joey waved to me while I was waiting to be filmed and he gave a thumbs up for it, and the people next to me freaked out, cause I knew him
But I have some wonderful spray on tan as a parting gift, for being chosen to be filmed anyone want any spray on tan?? But it was alot of fun none the less. Boy that stage is TINY in person. I sooooooo wish there was a way to get the footage with me talking, as horrible as it sounded so at least I could have it as a momento.

Who knows maybe I can drag my boyfriend again to see Kristi and if I get chosen again I'll just pretend to cheer to save my voice for the camera.:agree:

But seriously, one day all celebrities will look like this. Botox (a nerve poison which paralyzes the muscles of your face), plastic surgery over and over, have your nose done, have your eyes done, have your ears done, have your mouth done, have your chin done -- voila, we'll all look like Michael!

And if they don't get surgery they are told they are starting to look their age, starting to look haggard, starting to look terrible, starting to age badly, etc.
