Reigning champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White extended their lead over the rest of the field, winning the original dance competition with their popular Bollywood dance, and now lead five-time U.S. Champions Tanith Belbin and Benjamin Agosto by 1.62 points.

I hope that they will win the title and that it will be followed by the Olympic and World medal.

We really didn't know anything about Indian culture going in, and it was very important for us to do research so that we could do the theme justice. We didn't want to offend anyone or do something that was completely off base. So we made sure that we talked to specialists who knew exactly what they were doing

Meryl probably felt obliged to say that in the light of what's happening to Oksana and Maxim. Today I once again went on Youtube to watch their OD and once again felt thoroughly entertained by it. A real treat after watching disappointing women's long programmes at the Europeans.

Strange they would pick an East Indian theme; however, we do have a large East Indian community here in Vancouver. It will be interesting to see how their program goes over here.
