Deanna Stellato-Dudek & Maxime Deschamps

Also I wanted to bring this up again:

I have changed the deadline, it's now a bit later than I originally planned. Can't put it back further though because I'll need time to put together the PDF and I want them to have enough time to read everything.

Also I know the deadline is still more than a month away but I felt like it could use a little reminder since the participation so far is going slow. I hope it gets better closer to the event.

Anyway, I'd be happy if a few of you would contribute - and I'm sure they'll be happy too 🙂
A little push for this here as well...

Unfortunately they did not not have a great skate at all. I hope after a bit of rest they can regroup and attack the rest of the season.

It's Maxime's birthday today! I hope all his dreams for the next year will come true...like having a great Olympic experience!

BTW, if you want to send a message of support to him and Deanna...the link to the Google doc is on the previous page in this thread. I know a few of you have already contributed (thank you so much for this!)...and for those who are still thinking about it, the deadline is January 15th 🙂

And this weeks keep on giving. Deanna is on the new episode of the Olympics.com podcast hosted by Nick McCarvel. A great interview about the documentary and other things!

Post-Nationals interview with Deanna and Max. I feel like only Deanna will skate running on an empty tank basically and still be sad about the result. But they know what they need to work on, are still happy to be going to Milan and haven't given up on their dream.

By the way, my fan project stands at 44 messages now. I'll close the form tomorrow at about 10 PM German time and send the document to them on Friday. I hope it will cheer them up a bit.

Also some great quotes again from Deanna: "You'd have to pry my dead body off of the ice!" and "We need to clean up our technical elements, we didn't do any of them!"
And they also acknowledged that they didn't deserve to win with how they skated. Since Deanna hates disingenuity she'd probably have protested if they had won this :ROFLMAO:

Deanna & Max are the ones I am rooting for the most in Olympic pairs. They are Olympians, now and forever!
There a lots of teams I like but none of them is like Deanna and Max. No matter the outcome, I hope they will have two skates in Milan that they can be proud of. Can't wait to be there...not even two weeks now...

The day after tomorrow, Deanna and Max will skate in an ice show in Lithuania
They had to cancel Art on Ice because of her injury, insurance issues that followed, plus her not being cleared for anything besides the Olympics. So them going there also is an indicator how she's doing health-wise.
