Just thinking about this issue. The original plan was to invade Iraq take over the production of the oil and share the profits with all the Iraqis after the US and those that backed the invasion for getting their share. Unfortunately, Cheney and Rumsfeldt (Bush doesn't have ability to plan a war. He is just the mouthpiece only.) did not plan for an extended invastion when all they wanted was to occupy the country. And today they are still holding on to that oil dream because if the americans pull out, there will be a takeover by the native Iraqis.

Just about all Democrats are for change. Obama does it with a preacher like ability to stir the congregaton; Hilary does it analytically but is she talking over the congregaton's head?; and Edwards with his folksy charm is playing up to the middle class and below. But they all want Bush leadership out.

Just about all Republics want to continue the Course set out by Bush with varying degrees of changes.

So for me, I am voting for a Democrat of whomever wins these preliminaries. It's less risky.

Joe

Change? We do not need some empty slogans every four years. George W. Bush was for 'change' in 2000...

There's ZERO change I would support two empty suits and demogagues on the democratic side - Edwards and Hussein. The elite media wants to shove those two clueless idiots down our throats.

I prefer Clinton. If she can not get the nod. I will take Huckabee or McCain or some serious third-party candidate.

No more Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush... Disasters...

Problem with Clinton is she needs the Woman's Vote but as I said with the outcome of Dancing with the Stars, women will vote for a man over a woman and Barack is a good looking dude I am not trying to be a sexist. I am thinking of Elmer Gantry,

No way, Edwards!! Article War is makin our economy go down!!!

My mind is finally made up. Obama and Clinton are owned by money and now Kucinich turns out to be totally nothing but hot air. He isn't just the man we need in the White House, it's the man that can win the White House if nominated.

Edwards is our only hope!!!

This is exactly why democratic party is doomed. The party consists of shallow followers who have no core value. Most of these people are happy to just take elite media and Oprah's order.

They supported the war, when the battle got tougher, they then opposed the war, when the surge is working, they again start to support the 'surge'...

Very very shallow bunch. Although many of my values are close to them, I will never associate myself with that party. It's basically a loose coalition and interest group of ultra white liberals, African Americans and women.

Obama will get the nod since his surrogate - the elite media which is made up of ultra white liberals just love him. The elite media has a dispropotional influence over democratic party since they are part of it. I don't believe they have much sway over Republican party and independents. Look, John Kerry got lots of heavy-lifting from elite media in his final days back in 2004, but he still lost to George W. Bush.

It's going to be fun to watch Hussein Obama's collapse coming into November, 2008. He'll probably be stunned over his defeat since the elite media is deluding him into thinking he's the most popular figure in the world.
