Deniss Vasiljevs

Deniss, Jason, Shoma -- I'm almost ready to hop on a plane myself!!!! :hap57:

YOu definitely should!!!! It's an incredible opportunity!!! I am beyond excited I can't see straight :yahoo: Even the ridiculous price tag for the ticket doesn't seem so ridiculous any more, who would have thought I would be such a busy body being twice a fangirl simultaneously!!! :party2:

You need to start practicing your cheering / yelling NOW! :yahoo: :hap10: :dance2: :cheer:
Still hoping that by some miracle the tickets will be a little more reasonable! Good luck!

You really should come!!! It will be worth it!!!! The only thing is that it's such a small place and tickets availability is VERY limited. There is Shoma, Deniss is so popular with the Japanese fans and so is Jason. A friend of mine called the venue and they told her the tickets are already on sale :eekn: we looked everywhere but no such info are found. We are starting to seriously suspect they are now only selling the tickets to Japan, like they did with the Worlds tickets!!!!! :tantrum: Well I hope we are wrong, I will be super vigilant for any news about the tickets now!!!

Just looked at the entry list for the ladies. :jaw: Kailani, Laurine, Wakaba and Yura Carolina, Liza T and Zagi, USA's Bradie. Goodness, and that's just for starters. I have tickets for Sk Canada, U.S. Nats, and Worlds so can't really justify another competition. :sad4: :console: This promises to be a good one though. Please time, pass quickly! Can't wait!

Yes, there are interesting names also in other disciplines outside Mens, Dance would be interesting too, had it been like any other "normal" challenger series with the "normal" ticket prices (if existed) it would have been a fully enjoyable 3 days. but probably I will have to concentrate just on Mens competition, my partner is coming with me and I have to buy the tickets for him too and 3 full day pass x2 will come up to 360€ :jaw::palmf::hpull: So I need to set the priority straight.. I just hope I will get to see the practices without buying the day passes though (I am willing to pay for a separate ticket for that).

Since the thread is a bit deat at the moment (damn that off season  ), maybe this is old news, but I was watching some Elena Radionova and noticed that Deniss had a short appearance in her Music on ice program this January

I love how they are supposed to represent ~young love~

I'm getting seriously excited for this new season, I want to know what Deniss programs/layouts will be like :hap10:

P.S. if you missed Deniss' cute instagram story from yesterday, here is a screencap :)

I don't put any stock in Icenetwork predictions, but even a stopped clock is right twice a day ;) IMO, Deniss is already becoming a star, but of course, we want to see him on some podiums too. :) Guess we'll find out soon enough what the programs/layouts will look like...can't wait!

Jelena posted this in the Facebook group today along with some sweet "before and after" pictures. :) It's amazing that they know the exact date that he started skating. Happy anniversary!

Denis's first steps on the ice 15 years ago 3. 09. 2002. We congratulate! We support! We are proud!
That's amazing! Happy Anniversary, Deniss! :hap10: Shall we call it a skate-versary? I'm so glad that Deniss not only started skating but kept it up. I'm looking forward to many more memorable moments from him, on and off the ice. Great photos there! :)

And here I just put the link back in my post :laugh2:
For some reason I can never edit on mobile either, it always deletes the post. So I have to switch to the full site.

Awesome new costume. Deniss will definitely be one of the highlights of Lombardia for me! :party2:

Short video Kubo took when Lambiel was recording his lines for episode 12 of YOI:

You can see Deniss on the couch drawing away.
Thanks for posting! I've been looking for this.
I believe this was recorded by director Yamamoto (she's the one who is a hardcore skating fan, and based Victor's posture& mannerisms on pictures of Stephane coaching).
Lol at Stephane throughout this, it reminded me of their circles interview, and Steph saying he's 100% child. Meanwhile Deniss is drawing all calmly in the back... :D

So we still don't know what the SP will be, I guess...his ISU page isn't updated yet. But hopefully it will be a nice surprise.

Unfortunately, he's skating when I have to work :drama: but I will do my best to catch his performance asap!

Stephane looks a lot more nervous in that pic than Deniss
