In his fan meeting Stephane said that they will go to Latvia soon to get the uniforms - I wonder if there is some kind of send off for the Olympic athletes, because otherwise couldn’t they just ship them the jackets?

Wasn't I right when I posted that this brown shirt fits and suits him perfectly? Stephane knew what he was doing. And it's an honour for Deniss to wear it.
Sure, Deniss will have his Olympic uniform. It's right he doesn't have any uniform now but he certainly had when he represented Latvia in Junior Olympics and in some other cases as well.
There has been given a schedule of the athletes flights to Korea but it says that they will fly from Geneva. Not sure about it as Deniss, if I'm not mistaken, also said that he will be in Latvia shortly before leaving.
On Monday there is a presentation meeting of the delegation and then the flag bearer will be announced. Maybe there will be given some information.
About quads. I absolutely agree that quads show skaters' skills, and they give them additional bonus. But I'm against if this one extra spin is made so important that it can sweep away skaters' artistry, skills and musicality to such extent. Fortunately, Deniss proved that it's not always so.
Well, coming in a bit late but, you know, some people need some time to digest what happens in competition. And Moscow was intense! :dance:

Hi! One of the gifts there were two cookbooks on Russian language. Deniss was glad, because he can`t read Stephane`s cookbooks on French, but he can speak and read Russian. Deniss really very, very like to bake pies)) (sorry for my English and mistakes))

I also gave him a cookbook of the Roman cuisine/recipes. (In reality, there is no "Italian cuisine" in general exist, there are specific and distinct cuisines depending on the region!) at Lombardia Trophy, he seemed really excited and interested, and I could see he was a real chef in the making! (it was written in English, so both Deniss & Stephane could read) I think a cookbook of the particular country/region they are visiting could be a good gift idea for him!
