Yes, Deniss lives with Stephane. When he first came to Stephane he was still just 16, he was alone, and living in Switzerland is expensive so it makes sense. Plus they get along really well. Stephane is teaching Deniss how to cook & I would guess they often cook together. He's effectively adopted Deniss, which is very sweet.

When I met the two for the first time in Innsbruck at 2018 Cup of Tyrol (March last year), Stephane had a nasty burn on the back of his hand. He told me it was an accident while cooking, boiling butter sputtered while he was frying a cutlet. So I can just imagine them busy not only on the ice rink and gym but also in the kitchen together. Perhaps their partnership will become a life long journey, and they might start either a patisserie, or a cooking show, or restaurant together :luv17:

Deniss is not listed. hmm

We have similar test skates in Poland to determine international assignations (like there is one spot for JGP in Kaunas, and 5 ladies are going to fight for it). Deniss doesn't need assignments from the Fed as he earned them already... But it's just my guess.
