-Morning practice was alright, afternoon practice was... not but the poster said everyone was doing badly, so not to worry :)
-Stephane was dancing along to Taylor Swift whilst they were waiting to go on the ice for morning practice lol
-Deniss now has black blades for his skates (finally!!)
-Deniss jumped 2T, 2Lo and 2A clockwise at the end of morning practice (?!?!?!?) but twofooted. Then later he did clockwise 2T clean at the end of afternoon practice.

4T appears to still be shaky, but we know he can do it :cheer2:
 
Keep Calm, he is known for not being at his best during practices. He is more of a type who rise to the occasion when it counts! So we must sing together Don't Stop Believin' :biggrin:

I remember that after the Olympics Deniss said that he tends to have a week when he can manage all the jumps perfectly and then comes a month when he fails. In the interview in Champery he also wondered how can it be that all of a sudden he pops the jumps he learned first somes years ago! I liked his philosophical statement - Life is very difficult to understand it. :scratch2:

Don't stop believing that this week is the right week!!! :ghug:

Unfortunately that is a photo from FaOI this year taken by a Japanese physical trainer, Carolina was also in the original photo. The photo was originally posted on Facebook but I can't find the link right now......
But we can still get a sneak peek of Deniss from the official practice video of Shoma!
 
The mistakes (no combo + 2 URs) were costly but I think he can realistically move up to 4th if he delivers a solid LP.

I haven't made up my mind on the banana pants but they sure are something :dance3:
 
I LOVED his pants! A bit less the black jacket, but overall I like the style. He is my sunshine, even with mistakes, hope for a good FS ����[emoji1320]
 
In my opinion, black doesn't really go with the blue and yellow. Otherwise I really like the style of the costume. As for the performance, it was a silly error, but almost everyone today had a silly error, so he is in good company :)
 
Did you notice he has changed his skates? He is using the old fashioned blades in this season. ( I don't know the name of the new blades)
 
What a surprise with the costume! :laugh: I don't remember Deniss wearing other than black pants since... 2012 ex? Definitely in style, fitting to the music. Reminds me iconic Prince costumes, he loved the canary yellow, matched with black and violet/purple.
 
I must say I was rather taken aback when I saw those bright yellow legs :roll9: Then I remembered what a pair of bright yellow trousers did to Maxim Trankov in Sochi. So it's all good :agree: The program is very promising, convincing and he sold it like there is no tomorrow. I fell in love with it right away even though I wasn't crazy about the song itself initially. What a silly error, he is usually very solid on 3Lz-3T. But I felt such a good, positive vibe emitting all over from him, I am quite sure of his redemption tomorrow!

I'm so so sad! Yesterday he was in a wonderful mood and full of energy. It was a silly mistake but today the impression was worse than in Minsk. The program itself is simply marvelous but the jumps!!! :sad46: Why such things happen? Maybe artists' souls are unpredictable.

It's worth listening to my favourite Eurosport commentators. Their point could explain why there are so many mistakes. Thanks them for their emotions!

So sad here too 😢😢😢

sat down for some minutes doing nothing after this performance...
I think it fell apart after unexpected the fall on the 3Lo..
So get some positives out of this.. this wasn‘t the most important competition... and I hope he can learn from it! I just hope he can get his positive engery back until Grenoble.... I will support him there as good as I can no matter what ❤️❤️🦁
 
The jumps :sad4: This entire men's event was disappointing in comparison with the ladies, but at least Deniss's artistic performance was nice.

Don't give up, Samurai, there's still the second GP :pray:
