Kudos to Deniss! 3rd place in the SP today and that was with a fall in the quad & outrageous Level 3's on two elements. The program is even better than the last time.

I was so nervous watching, but once he landed the beautiful 3A, from then on the program was mesmerizing. It could turn into a masterpiece.

The fall looked terrible... yet Deniss was able to continue the performance and did it beautifully... Wish he stabilizes 4S soon, I don't want him to have a lot of bruises... Good luck tomorrow!

Proud of him for attempting the quad in the short and his performance was absolutely mesmerizing. The spins and step sequence were fabulous and I was glad to see him (finally) get rewarded for great components. Hope he can carry this momentum into a successful free program tomorrow.

I don't know how he sprang right up after that fall b/c it looked like he landed on his wrist/arm. But the rest of the program was beautiful. Bravo!

I was really impressed with how he recovered after that bad fall. A great performance overall, good job!

The commentator said he’s one of the most popular skaters among the fans and you could hear how loud people were cheering for him.

He certainly has a lot of fans at the rink. Nearly everyone I spoke to said they were there to cheer for Deniss. The crowd went absolutely wild in the free, and people were on their feet before the programme had finished.

I live in Sheffield, and was beyond excited when I saw that Deniss had been assigned the MK John Wilson Trophy. And to be in the crowd when he won a Grand Prix silver medal was absolutely brilliant.
