Did I hear ESPN right?

My ISP has 360, but when I click on Play or Replay it does absolutely nothing. Guess I'm doing something wrong, but can't figure out what.

If you go to espn.com, click on TV listings, then click on 360, you can see the full schedule. The first coverage seems to start on Friday at 11:30 AM.

So they're going to broadcast live ? I'd be very useful for me since I'm from Italy (even though the ladies will compete until late night :disapp:)

It may sound strange to you, but the italian satellite television which is broadcasting the GP events (rai sport sat) will broadcast the final in ITALY (!) mostly not live, recorded, and will not even show all the competitions. We're so angry..we even signed a petition for showing us this GP series.

waxel - have you contacted the website to see what is wrong?

I finally thought that it might be an AOL glitch. Sure enough- 360 plays fine on Explorer.

I'm thinking I may try and catch the short programs- then wait for the ESPN telecast to see who wins. Having the ability to see things online is great- but it does make you long for a real TV.

Oh, shoot! It looks like ESPN360 is not carrying all the action alive. From the current schedule, it looks like it's carrying all Friday evening events (OD, men, ladies, and pairs SP), then FD and most of men's LP on Saturday morning.

Then Saturday afternoon schedule is not fully fleshed out, so there's still a chance that it could carry the pairs LP 2-3 PM, but the ladies' LP (scheduled to start at 3:25 PM) will almost certainly NOT be shown, because ESPN360 has scheduled college basketball for 3-5 PM!

Oh, no, oh, no, oh, no! Will they show it on-demand afterwards? Does anyone know about this based on previous experience with espn360??

It's being broadcast live on Russian TV, so I'm pretty sure there'll be vids by the end of the day. I myself am hoping to watch it on the Daum player, since my college campus doesn't get ESPN360.

I'm trying out the espn360.com player -- it seems to be working, but it only allows me to watch "replays" and not "live". When I click on the "live" link nothing happens. Is it because nothing is scheduled for the current time slot? The first thing on their schedule of the day is the GPF. I really hope that the "live" option will magically start working by then!

Is espn360 working for anyone? I just get a blank screen, no sound, although the timer is ticking...

Um... I'm getting a bit nervous! OD starts in 4 minutes, and still nothing from espn360...

1795, is it working for you yet? I quit Firefox (and a bunch of other applications), and then restarted it, and it worked for me.

First of all, I was confused with the different ESPN broadband sites:
1 http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/ivp/?ref=splash
2 http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/espn360/index#

It's the 2nd one that is providing live coverage of the GPF.

Upon going to the site, I was informed that my ISP, AT&T, "carries ESPN360.com" and I had to install a small program. Simple.

The coverage I get has 6 simultaneously broadcasting videos, 1 large and 5 small ones. Pausing the small ones greatly improved the quality of the main one. There is a "programing guide" on the same window which has replay buttons for the just completed events, a live button, and the schedule of the upcoming events.

I just caught the end of the ladies coverage and will try to watch the replay of the ladies event when the live coverage of the pairs ends.

Actually, it looks like espn360 WILL carry the ladies' LP tomorrow. It's not shown in the TV listing of espn.com, but it is shown in the programming guide of the espn360 player itself.

Also, apparently it's possible to watch espn360 outside the US (in Europe anyway) at europe.espn360.com, according to this wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESPN360

I don't know if that website has the same programming though.
