I am sure that nobody is more angry with Dima than himself. :drama: Hopefully he can talk to a psychologist, the sooner the better...I can't stand to think of his talent going to waste.

That actually did cross my mind as a sort of conspiracy theory :biggrin: but I strongly doubt he would sabotage himself like that on purpose, and it's not like there is no precedent for him having a bad FS...

Anyone else wondering why he changed boots and blades now when the season has already started? AFAIK skaters usually change their boots at the end of the season when there ist still plenty of time to adapt?
 
ugh yeah im super worried that he wont be able to adapt & it may get worse

ntw Imo he needs extra phisical training Really it looks like he's pretty exhaousted by the end of the FS :(
All the sportsmen need to go to Krasnodar to the specialist worked with our Oly champs in handball ASAP!!! those gals seemed to never tire!

What a cute little boy he was :)

I don't know what to expect from Dima at the JGP final this week - don't want to get my hopes destroyed again, so I'll just take the "wait and see" approach :biggrin:
 
Never thought I would get to type these words, but Dima finally pulled it off and WON the JGP Final!!! I couldn't be happier for him! It wasn't perfect and I can't stand Josh Groban...but he's clearly maturing as an artist and mostly keeping it together through 2 programs; that's a huge breakthrough. Well done Dima!!! :yahoo::hap10::hap93:
 
It seems Dima went to visit his family for the holidays, and entered a ski race with his brother, and came in 3rd place...his brother won :) I don't know how often he still skis, but it's good to see that he hasn't lost his abilities. Just hope he won't do anything that could lead to injury...there are still several skating competitions left this season!

Because Lazukin doesn't have the Minimum SP TES (he only has the FS) for Euros, Aliev is the 1st substitute for Euros.
