Do female skaters wear socks over their nylons?

personally i dont like going barefoot in my skates, feels weird. i wear only my footed skating tights (leotards, nylons), i do have a pair on stirrup tights, which i wear a think nylon sock in my boots. im not a huge fan of the "over the boot" tights either or the "nude" colored skates. i think they look strange, i like the look of a white skate, to me a white skate looks normal.

im really wierd about this. i wear really thin ankle tights w/ bunga pads. skate tights are too thick, so i wear the ones that go around my skate instead of my feet.
i heard alot of flat foot skaters wear plastic bags (like small produce bags) in their boot to stop blisters. my friend wears them, but she said she'll stop wearing them when she breaks in her new stiff SP-teris.
