TV Asahi has published an interview with Yuzuru taken today after the show. They talked about the story and the show, and the audience reactions, but also about his first encounter with Hiroshima as a young boy in elementary school, 2nd grade, drawn to a book with the Atomic Bomb Dome on the cover, reading it and choosing to write an essay on it, and developing some sort of bond to the city lasting until now and through his subsequent visits on different occasions. They also talked about Mikiko coming from Hiroshima and now them both bringing their show here.
The interviewer also mentioned that watching Echoes allows the viewer to see both SP and FS from his 2nd Olympics as Chopin's Ballad no 1 is a part of the show, and Seimei is the traditional encore for al his shows. Yuzu's reaction was funny cause it seems he never thought of it this way.
Short but very interesting. Still you might find that you need to switch to Japan to be able to watch .

Oh, yes!!! Chiba show is also planned to be broadcast on Telasa, the multi-cam view service, too, in addition to the satellite channels, but I don't remember... which day?The media really really want Yuzu, which is lovely for us

Wow! So the Hiroshima leg is over! The show was splendid, just as expected, even if not completely clean! It had some changes, I can't say it was like a totally different show, yet it felt even more refine, with some of the new additions filling in the gaps from the Saitama version! Yuzu was very emotional, the whole thing felt very very intense, even more so than in Saitama, and Yuzu admitted in the finale that he was fine but extremely exhausted.
He appeared there with a serious face, visibly weighing words, and after usual thank-yous for all the stuff involved, he talked a bit about serious stuff, serious feelings and questions coming to mind with the show staged in Hiroshima this time. Just to give some reason to why many people felt it so meaningful to have it staged in Hiroshima, just look at the post-apocalyptic landscape at the pic below to get some feel of what the visuals of the imaginary world the story takes place in are like and what the topic is. And OTOH many of those who came for the show took their time to visit historic sites in the city, both related to the ancient Japanese history, and to the memories of the dropping of the atomic bomb, and posted pics and thoughts about it, too.

But after sharing some thoughts on it, Yuzu finally moved on to the entertaining part of the finale, put the audience in a lighter mood and made everyone - and himself - laugh a lot! Personally I find it relieving to have a heartfelt deep laugh after some more serious stuff, so I guess it was good for him and of him to direct everyone to end on a happy and high note. And seeing him having such a great rapport with the audience, his fans and the newcomers all the same, is always so heartwarming.,

I'm waiting for the Hiroshima show before writing the things on my mind because he always upgrade the things in his show here and there. The jumps didn't behave well today (at least he is not injured, I am relieved) but I can see that he is adding things in the choreography details and it is always fun to watch and trying to spot the difference with the previous shows.
I think I can objectively said Yuzu's Ice Stories is simply the best ice show ever. Well, people will say ice shows have different genres and theoretically cannot be compared etc. but it is obvious even from the production value alone that Yuzu's Ice Stories are miles better. I thought GIFT was awesome. Then when I watched RE_PRAY I thought RE_PRAY was awesome. But when I first watched the VCR on Echoes, I immediately hoping Yuzu can get profit from the show because the VCR quality is so high you can tell immediately that it is (very) expensive. Echoes is awesome, btw. Not as much of excitement roller coaster the way RE_PRAY was because the topic is more serious, but I think it really highlights his maturity and development as a performer. Also, I certainly think that Ice Stories isn't something that can be done with skating skills alone. You need a vision, direction (MIKIKO is so amazing), (in some shows) supporting performers (ELEVENPLAY is so skillful), technical supports (the lightings, projections, etc.), financial supports (Thank you TOWA, KOSE, Phiten, Telasa-- Now that SEKKISEI and Yuzu parted ways I wonder if AQUA and Haier will support his next shows or whether KOSE will make a new contract with him for another brand next March?), broadcast support (Thank you Asahi)... The list is endless. And I believe all these people and companies trust Yuzu because they know his capability.
As for the programs, Utai is clearly the fan favorite since day one. It is mine too. I also like Mass Destruction (Yuzu is clearly serious with his dance training, the improvement is obvious). Nowadays I also love the medley part and the whole segment of Eclipse/Blue. For Eclipse part, watching it with subtitles is a huge game changer.
I really like the SE-SE-Besti Squat part in Utai and these parts from medley:
Other than the visual and auditory feast, I also enjoyed the Yuzu's interactions with fans from Yuzu's Ice Story. He is so chatty, and often time I found myself just smiling and nodding at everything he said, despite not understanding a thing due to language barrier. Like... Look at him being such a cutie pie after spending two hours thinking about the meaning of life.

I really like his new costumes by the new designers. It is so flowy and lends to the additional dramatic effect. Also, he can use it to support his skating.

Thank you for this! I had the livestream but also had a head cold so didn't get as much out of it as I wanted... I will wait for the archive when I will be able to watch clear-headed.
I think what is amazing is that Yuzu has the skating brilliance and the charisma to do a plain, unvarnished 'greatest hits' on a bare rink and make it magical... but he goes all out to create a story and a sensory feast in every way possible. He's a true artist.
