Echoes of Life tour 2024-25

Some things I noticed from Hiroshima show...

With Yuzu, he usually wants to convey every notes possible with his moves. He has a very high musical sensibility, but sometimes it came off as too much. Is it good, or is it bad? It depends, I guess, because there is some movements I wish he keep for his Gate of Living performance.

He made some adjustments already for Echoes. The timing for the waving hands during Utai is different, he seems to ditch the costume grabbing for some parts, there is more finesse for Mass Destruction, also the whole classical medley section is more... flowy, I guess? I feel he is getting more flexible, and the way he uses his hands and fingers... :love:

I am very thankful for TV Asahi's camera crews for always studying the programs and using it to adjust their cameraworks. :thank:

Some more little snippets from yesterday's show.



Last time Yuzu used to pat camera as a symbolic patting of heads of those watching TV, cinema or online broadcasts. Yesterday he gave them symbolic high five instead!

Some beautiful photos have been posted on the official Echoes account along with the announcement of January 11 as the date for delayed viewing of January 5 performance from Hiroshima in cinemas across Japan. Ticket sales start now on the firrst come, first served basis!

LiveViewing sales must have been unexpectedly high! And January 11th is still before the start of the Archive streaming, just saying...
Nevertheless, as we're speaking of movie theatres who have their programmation that can't be easily modified, and where Saturday is the hot day, I wonder how far went the sales to trigger this last-minute adding of a delayed viewing. Because it really looks last minute, doesn't it? Usually it's announced at the same time as the LiveViewing, and only the number of rooms/screens is adjusted depending on the LiveViewing success in each location; and there's first a lottery round, being that, as they now know the "Hanyu shows market", they're rather accurate in the allocation of rooms, planning all rooms over 80% full or the like, some oversubscribed at the lottery (but if very much oversubscribed, they allocate a new or a larger room in the same venue or nearby) and the rest being filled around 90% (from the numbers we've had in the past) after the lottery, on a first-come-first-serve basis. Here, the announcement is only four days before, and of course, there's no time for a lottery.
 
Speaking of live viewing, but in China, we had wondered how many seats there were in this "immersion" movie theatre in Shanghai, there were "only" 300, so it's no wonder that the lottery has been a blood bath (some who lost at the lottery booked a flight to Japan, to watch Echoes of Life in Hiroshima in a movie theatre, be it without translation):

The video provides little snippets of the show but also lets us see what the 360° cinema screen actually meant which I was sooo curious about!

I saw so many posts from fans amazed by him composing a piece especially for Yuzu !

Live Viewing and delayed viewing confirmed in Japan for Chiba Day 2!!
As Shanghai News reporting on the live viewing in the special venue in Shangai (above) revealed Great Sports Media are planning to have Chiba Day 2 paid livestream again for China I think it is very, very probable we'll have the BeyondLive global livestream again, too !!!

 
The interview and the transcription were posted in Yuzuru Hanyu's Fan Fest, but I think that this subtitled excerpt of Baseball champion Shintaro Ejiri's interview of Yuzuru Hanyu belonged here too, because there's where he mentions how difficult such a solo show is, from a stamina and focus viewpoint, particularly when Chopin's Ballade arrives in its Olympic layout after half an hour skating, using a Baseball metaphor:

Here comes Utai from the Ghost in the Shell - the famous fan favourite - with English subtitles!!! Wow, thank you, arigato, gasshio :thank::thank:

This is so precious as we know how important song lyrics are for Yuzu when choosing them and skating to them! And of course, they add to the show but understandably are not included in the standard subtitles! So it makes it so much more precious to be able to watch this magical programme when understanding the lyrics.
And in the tweet below the poster explains some language nuances, thank you even more! :bow::bow:

 
Today some international fans saw an attempt by Lawson ticketing at charging their debit or credit card, meaning that they had won at the latest lottery for tickets for Echoes of Life in Chiba, and the attempt aborted; other attempts weren't more successful, even for those who had already paid tickets for Echoes of Life with the same card. I read a report that Lawson would have issued an announcement, but I don't have it. I hope that the problem will be solved, and that the payment will succeed in the end, and they will be able to watch Echoes of Life at the venue.

Oh, I saw reports some people were trying to pay for coming LiveViewing for Chiba with international cards, the same they used so far, and failed, too. Probably a bigger problem then...
Hope they solve it soon to enable international payments :pray:
BeyondLive is Korean so whatever is the problem, it should not be affected by it, hopefully ! :pray:
