Yes because when I think of an Austrian waltz, the first image that comes to mind is marching soldiers. Oy veh.

- What competitions will open the season?
- This will depend on rentals in Sochi. I think it will start the season with the Russian Cup - though not yet know from what it was. We adapt to the season calendar. At the moment, the most important thing for us - to take part in a ride in Sochi, there we will have to act in a suit with lumpy programs. With regard to the objectives of the Grand Prix until guessing. We are glad that we have two stages, we is not even counted. Small steps moving toward the goal (smiles). We Dima fighting spirit! There is a desire and opportunity. Now we ride in the mountains, accumulating physics to make it easier to carry the load, get off until the end of the program. We want to return updated. To looked at us - and did not believe that this former Bobrova and Soloviev, who had not seen for a year! The Way We Were, after the transition to Zhulin: no one recognized us, so a giant step forward we have made. Now we want to achieve the same effect - and return to elite figure skating.

This is sort of a problem for me. I don't know if I want to see them, or Shibutanis at the GP Final, as I feel that Shibutani's new FD to music by Coldplay and with choreography by Tchernyshev could be wonderful and probably their best FD to date.I'm so excited! Want to see them at Barcelona![]()

Both B/S and S/S could be in the Final if they get a second and third place each, Cappellini/Lanotte and Ilinykh/Zhiganshin also get a second and third place each at their events, and both B/S and S/S have higher combined scores than C/L and I/K. Or if either C/L or I/Z get second places at both of their events, Gilles/Poirier would also have to be second and third at their events for Bobrova/Soloviev and Shibutanis to get into the Final (only if both have second and third place as I said before) - and G/P are very likely to get second place at both of their events. And I actually want Ilinykh/Zhiganshin to be in the Final even more than I want B/S and S/S, although I understand that it will be very difficult for them to win Cappellini/Lanotte so early in the season.Never been a fan of Shibs, sorry
But I actually think there is a real chance to see both these teams there. Really.
Yes, it annoys me too, even though I like Gilles/Poirier for their mostly nonstandard programs. It annoys me so much that a much weaker team like G/P are almost guaranteed to be there thanks to the very easy draw, and there are 4 really good teams scrapping over two places.

Sinitsina/Katsalapov may not be able to pull it together technically at least in the beginning of the season. And Yanovskay/Mozgov will be a just out of juniors team - usually those don't get very high PCS, especially if the country they are competing for already has established top couples. Shibutanis were an exception, since some more established teams (Pechalat/Bourzat, Bobrova/Soloviev) made serious mistakes at Worlds, and other slow climbers (Weaver/Poje, Cappellini/Lanotte) hadn't yet reached the level to get that kind of acknowledgement from judges.I agree with pretty much everything you've said. But.
I actually like G/P, but I don't think their spot is guaranteed at all. I'm sure Sinitsina/Katsalapov will give them the run for their money at SA. They had higher PCS in last season even with their terrible technical performance. And I would not put Y/M out of the way of G/P too. They are definitely G/P caliber team already. If not better.
I also have almost no doubts that I/Z will end up higher than C/L overall.
But like I said, the chance is real. I can see S/S to beat B/S at one event. But I'd rather B/S to win both![]()
Bold prediction: B/S are going to win every single event they enter in and be favorites going into the world championships, where they will set new records in both the sd and fd.

I imagine the DRAMA on this forum. Particular members will probably die from a heart attack

But I agree that Gilles/Poirier have rivals at their GPs who could beat them. That's why I wrote that they will very likely get two second places, not that they will definitely get them.
