The season barely started for Senior ID and there's already people saying they are going to be beaten easily with these programs. Welp.

Ditto.I had a similar feeling. She's half dressed and he's dressed like he's going to a Victorian funeral. I don't object to either costume. They just don't work together.
Sorry couldn't help it...Katya forgot her trousers that day for the test skates.

She must have had two: Tuktamysheva skates in another one this season.someone stole Artemieva's white transparent sleeve last season.![]()
They say it's a part of their new FD. I quite like it.
I think they were rather slow across the ice, especially in the no touch step sequence.
very polished at the expense of speed.
To me he is too dressed and she is too undressed. Not sure if SD is caprivating though. After being stripped from Worlds last season I think they need a stronger music and choreo to make a big come back. Hope I like their FD better.
It's 2nd of September. And this video can't show you a real speed, it's not stationary.
I'm also 100% sure that the costumes are not final, I don't even get why are you talking about them now.
True, it's difficult to tell on videos how fast the skaters are so we will have to wait and hear from people at the Russian test skates
I've heard that that is definitely Bobrova's final costume.
You can also see it has been very carefully designed with the rhinestones on the bra etc.
I doubt she'd go to all that trouble for a gala
And Dima's pants too. Besides, I doubt someone from the Fed will let them break the rules even if Zhulin's team is unprofessional enough to do that without even knowing.Right... If they want to keep their nr.1 placement in Russia that is one goal and it's a minor one. I think they need to have a stronger target- top 3 at Worlds because frankly nr.1 in Russia will not ensure them any help on top events from judges. The field is very competitive right now and great technique shoud be paired with a very strong choreo and performance too. A program that will stand out would be a great tool to achieve that target. IMHO, of course. It's a strong dance. And I don't think 'comeback' is the right word for them this season. Their comeback was last season, and despite skating to bad cut warhorse music in SD they managed to stay Russian #1 team, to qualify to GPF and to medal at Euros while beating Cappellini/Lanotte in the FD.

I don't think I ever tried to do that.:scratch3:You can't kill real talent.

I think she will get deduction for the... Shirt.Better video of the SD.
I was unsure about the program before but I like it now???? I'm surprised about it, haha. It looks sexy and fun, and the outfit is a bit out there, but it works for me. Like it more than last year's SD already, so it's a plus for me.
& its time for someone to actually skate to GoT!The winter is coming.
Russian ID is so 'Game of Thrones'ish. "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die."![]()
so why hide it! esp in a show!Right... If they want to keep their nr.1 placement in Russia that is one goal and it's a minor one. I still remember how many ppl thought & called AK boring & then at the end of the season enamored by it
You clearly didn't get my post as I intended. Last season was a toungh one for them and they still managed to success, I'm sure this eason they will continue to improve, they're not stanting from the scratch this time. This season even #2 in Europe will most probably end up outside of podium at Worlds. As for stand out dances, you're correct. But stand out dances are not always successful, look at some stand out SDs from last season. Anyway, it's too early. Last season two top teams completely changed their SDs (Chock/Bates even more than once) before GP season even started. And this dance, IMO, doesn't need to be completely changed, but some touches here and there would be nice. And I hate the music, honestly![]()
Ha ha , for me to know and you to wonder, but safe to say it was a valid sourceLast season she changed her SD outfit thrice, so I wouldn't be so sureAnd Dima's pants too. Besides, I doubt someone from the Fed will let them break the rules even if Zhulin's team is unprofessional enough to do that without even knowing.
By the way, where did you hear that?

I think she will get deduction for the... Shirt.

So true. Even on this forum.
I also remember how many people (me included) were amazed by 'Frida' after test skates. And look how all of that turned out.
