That's what I would like to know, and if they do not qualify for the RN does that mean they do not get funds?
They need time so I am not bothered whether they skate there or not, as long as they have enough funds to keep training and get some good programs.

Only the dancers on the Russian National team get funding and salaries from the federation.
I believe that is the top 5 at Nationals plus the top team from Juniors.
Though there is some funding at club level and in Moscow from Moscow Federation.

Well, we'll know sooner rather than later. She does have a big engagement come this Sunday. I must say its nice to see her finally reap the rewards of her hard earned medals at Sochi.

I personally would prefer her to finish now, than embarrass herself with such a low level partner.
I prefer to keep my great memories of her as a great Olympic star!

My feelings exactly. I can't speak about the FD but they would have had a respectable showing today. Maybe things are as he says "complicated" and we just have to wait and see. But, I missed seeing her at Russian Nationals today, but as they say hope dies last.

He allegedly has the case in the court there and is not showing up. Money issues.
Probably that's why he's taken to doing so many shows. Challenges all around.
But she seems to be enjoying her stint in shows currently. I hope she'll make a successful go of it no matter where her future leads.
Allegedly Elena and Nikita had a tryout last summer before the season started. With Bobrova taking a year off and possibly retiring and Soloviev continuing, I wonder if she will have (or has already had) a tryout with him. Speculations of either her or Sinitsina as Soloviev's next partner.
