Someone on twitter says it's a really fun & energetic program, amazing twizzles, problems with speed in the step sequence.

They were with Igor until test skates, the Novi team did all the programs, Ruslan exacerbated an injury at test skates, they decided to stay in Moscow with Kustarova as they couldn't go to Nebelhorn, Kustarova & Igor are both acting as coaches at SA. Don't know exactly who is the "main" coach. Igor said to people at Nebelhorn that he was still working with them, but I've heard that money might be a concern so they might end up with a situation of consulting with Igor & having training periods with him, but also having time in Russia.

Huh... well, I just saw that Kustarova/Najarro are listed as choreographers for both the SD and FD. It's not what I was expecting I will admit. I was hoping for a bit of a different package from previous years, but.... They seemed a bit slow in practice, or maybe it was just the video or just because it was practice and not a full run-through, not sure.

Let's see how they do in competition...
 
The ISU bio hasn't been properly updated (last week they had S/K's music listed instead of the real thing) but the programs were all Igor & Fabian, plus an Indian dance teacher who was with them for 4 days. They saw Antonio, but it was a flying visit to Madrid & really more a social visit & show him what they'd been working on rather than him doing anything significant.

Do you see same package as last year cause I don't see anything similar? Elena said that Igor choose the music for the FD, they were in US until the test skates so I dont know how Kustarova was involved in the creation of the programs :)

I/Z pracitse SD video has been watched over 10 000 times already. I guess a lot of people were curious. :)

I am happy that the music cuts of BS and IZ are not identical :D.

They have a lot of details in the program and they literally covered the whole rink . The intro of the step sequence is the best so is the final, the exit of the lift, step sequence are really really nice and dynamic and I love some small details as well. I like the music cuts as well. I cant wait to see it from different angle. I hope their "fans" show some respect and don't belittle their work even before their first outing.
 
It would really be great if we didn't get what same crazed posters in russian forums write every time.It's like they have nothing else to do in their lives.

I must say the full-figure images make it clear that the FD costumes are excellent. I feel a bit shamefaced for having criticized the costumes after having seen just their shoulders, lol! The only thing I’d wish is that the red/pink color in Elena’s top and skirt were the same hue, or maybe leave the skirt lighter, but make the top the same color as Ruslan’s pants, but it’s a detail. In general, I like these a lot! The snippets of the dance also look terrific. Such perfect synchronicity! And the lift looks so light and easy. I’m very happy about what I’ve seen.

I’m not worried by what people are writing on any thread anywhere. Who’s going to read them? Judges? ISU? Rus Fed? Skaters? And if somebody who mattered had happened to read it by any chance, why on earth would he/she care? I must say, though, that personally I find it not ridiculous, but sad that we have such losers on our forum who, instead of supporting their favorites, are trying to trash the competition.

Of course, they don’t – and the content of their lengthy and numerous missiles make it clear why. Personally, I only go to FSO to look at pictures in “Personalities,” but have long ago stopped looking at any of the comments. There are a few normal people there, but mostly it’s a sellout forum. The Russian forum I frequent is the Navka Ice Queen one that I found out about on this forum. There are lots of real fs fans there, with very active threads for many skaters, and I often first learn the news there. They also find lots of photos, some of which I haven’t seen anywhere else. I watched Ilinykh/Zhiganshin's partial free dance practice video. First I'm not fan of the music choice, change of between musics should be way smoother and I want different lifts. But I liked new twizzles, there is now step between first two set. I'm fan of catch of blade twizzles. I was hoping that. Execution of new step sequence way better than what they did in other free dances. They look like a couple skating in holds versus two skaters trying to skate between holds. They look closer and I see only one hand to hand hold in that element, plus only hold breaks are in twizzles which is necessary. I didn't see many elements because video is not full. I'm waiting free dance.

Overall I'm fan of Frida but execution of new free dance already looks better than two other free dances. But they need to fix transition between musics.
 
Im sorry, but Ruslan has not improved his lift holds, he is still not secure and so you can see him shaking....
 
I'm looking at the better video and I must say that I am intrigued to see the last minute or so of the dance :)
