Yep, and Vaitsekhovskaya keeps complaining on her blog that it's SB that the Fed doesn't support.
I'm reviewing Frida from COR 2015 and I can't believe how underscored that program was.
They just need the right choreographers and time to develop. I like their programs this year, but my favourites from them are still Carmen and Frida. I can't understand the scores i'm seeing for certain error filled tangos when their absolutely sparkling Frida at COR was relegated to less than 100 points. I am more than a bit annoyed by what I'm seeing.
Rant over. I hope the kids can recover well for the remainder of the season.

I've re-watched IZ's SD at TEF with Russian commentary, and both Grishin and Tarasova thought they'd done very well and were surprised to see them lose levels. Neither of them could explain it. I've also watched SK's FD with them, and they expected SK to lose levels and were surprised when they didn't.

They need to post some serious scores in Talin after the scores S/B and S/K posted at CoR, otherwise they will be out of the running in the Hunger games.
Even Z/G in the Warsaw Cup this weekend managed to post higher scores than Ruslena's season's best
Z/G improved their scores from CoR about 16 points. Scoring at Challengers are usually not as strict as on the Grand Prix. I just want two clean skates from Elena and Ruslan.

Yes as fans we really can't worry about the scores (well, sometimes we do, but it's pointless). We have no control over them at all, and even Ruslena themselves can't do anything to directly control the scores, particularly PCS- they can only do their best to skate clean and with good emotion and energy and trust that the scores will follow. Best to just wish for them to do their best and then what happens with the scores happens.

Finally a piece of good luck
I'll be watching, can't wait!76! The scores overall have been high, but the PCS isn't inflated at all from what they got in France. Guess the judges really do like the SD. Probably a tougher tech panel would have brought down the TES a bit, but there weren't any bobbles. A bit of a loss of synch on the twizzles, but that was the only thing that marred the performance. Most importantly for me, they skated cleanly and with a lot of speed and confidence.

Oh dear, this looks like the results from the Mordovian cup last season, these marks are too much when you consider no one else this season has got a level 4 on the partial step sequence, not even the French or V/M, but I/Z have here.

It is precisely because I am a fan of them, and overmarking them last season at the Mordovian cup didn't help them at all.
I don't want them to be a laughing stock, they are both really good skaters, so they don't need to be overmarked!
