Elena Radionova

Evgenia have sponsorship, money she put from her wallet. Lot of times Rusfed denied further funding beyond those basic for every russian skater. Elena don't have that money, she can afford some travel in other countries but not a coach, a choreographer and renting an apartment for years at the same time. Even Kostner would struggle to train with Mishin without Suzuki commercials and TV or ice shows.

But first of all, beside her health problems and before searching a new coach, she need to find new motivation to herself. She seems lost lately.
Where do you thinn she looks lost? I think maybe at the beginning of the season she looked a bit "lost" but in the videos of her coaching she looks quite determined. Well, I'm gonna see her live in february, so I'll judge it from there how her form is. Maybe she is using this season not competing wisely(which I hope) and is trying to stabilize her jumps and stuff, she looks a lot faster on ice

She doesn't necessarily need to move abroad to find a new coach: there are coaches currently without a senior woman even in Moscow like Ilia Klimkin or Plushenko's Academy.

Technically there is the comeback rule so she could take advantage of that if she still wants to compete.

I've never heard of Klimkin, but I don't think Plushenko would be a good fit for her tbh I just don't see it. I hope she will compete again, K think she just needs to find true motivation again, kinda like Liza T, and then she can shine

Thank you all for your congratulations! I am extremely pleased! I myself can’t believe that already 20 ... a serious number During this time I had a rather difficult and busy life in which there were falls and rises, but I have no regrets, I just love life very much, and much I believe is given for experience. I am very proud of my friends and the people around me. I am madly in love with my parents and people close to me! I am happy with what I do! And I want to open new horizons, go beyond and try for yourself something new! And this is just the beginning! After all, 20 is the starting point in life! ❤️⛹*♀️ P.S. Thanks to everyone who was with me this evening! I love everyone!

hi!! ive never been on this fan fest, but i am a big fan of elena, and very confused fkkf

the 2018/19 retirements and her Wikipedia page has her listed as retired as of 24/12/18? is there any news on this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2018–19_figure_skating_season

And here, too, is written about retirement. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elena_Radionova

But this information does not have a source, Lena and her coaches did not make any official announcements.

I think this might be some people that just came to the conclusion, since she didn't compete this season maybe? Everyone can edit wikipedia, and as long as there isn't an official statement I'll deem it not true.

I think she might want to stay at CSKA, but I don't know why she wouldn't switch to Sokolovskaya, since she seems to help choreograph for one of her students

This girl is also coached by Sergey Voronov. Most likely, this girl’s family has good financial capabilities and she can pay for training with top CSKA skaters. Unfortunately, the results of this girl are weak.

Good Heavens she's still so young only 20. I remember before the Sochi Olympics there was an interview with her and her older teammate Adelina Sotnikova that was so nice. Was Elena too young for Sochi?

Happy belated birthday Elena and happy New Year too!

Yes, Elena was too young for Sochi but the 2014-2015 season was her breakout season, along with Liza

According to an article Lena is still dreaming of Beijing and I'm so excited. It really makes you wonder what she has planned, could it be she has something up her sleeve that she could be training rn or plans to?

If she does make a comeback next season I really really hope she'll keep her cinema paradiso free skate. Even at test skates it already looked like it could be such a great program
