Well, now I'm much more optimistic about it, but I still want to see it in costume. I think that she can (and will) express that even more fiercely in a competition

OMG YES!!! I love it from the ice level when you can see all the details. She's working it
!!! Can't wait for Titanic Okey, now that I've wached it about seven times, I think that in the first half she's just trying to keep it clean and in the second half she's not self aware anymore, just gets lost in the music and that's when the chills really kick in

lolol. I can't stop watching it. The drama
and all the skaters at the boards watching 
I can't say I'm a fan of the music, but she performs the heck out of it! I love her intensity. However, it just feels more like an exhibition piece...I mean, obviously there is technical content packed into it, but the music just doesn't feel very sophisticated. Oh well, I hope I feel differently about it when she actually starts competing!

Yes, I agree. The program seems like a step backwards for her. I was thinking about going to Worlds since it is in the US this time, but I don't really want to see this program or her SP. I hate to say these things, as I am a huge fan of hers. I'd love to see her work with someone like Nichols, Buttle, or Lambiel.
I think the root of the problem lies with the music choice. There's only so much you can do with that. I don't know why Goncharenko and Lena selected it.

I agree - I also don't understand why there is spoken parts to it. How are you supposed to choreograph to that!?

I hate to say this, but have to say that Elena's music choice for her programs this season is a complete failure! Such music just ruined her great talent! 
I don't agree. I would glad to see Elena in a style diffrent from the last season's style, i.e. lyrical, drama style. Lena wants to be actress, to create new images and we'll see as she will cope with it. This is not about the style or skin-deep acting on ice, but about the further development of her skating career. My point still stands.
She doesn't need to win me over, I already like her. It's that darn music and those cuts that are horrible.
I'm still scratching my head over why Goncharenko would ask her to skate to this. Why Inna, why? Of all the thousands of OSTs that you could have chosen for her...

Titanic isn't the problem, there are nice pieces of music in the soundtrack. Remember Mariah Bell's Titanic FS? That wasn't bad at all. This music selection is a true nightmare and I also think that she deserves better. I hope that the Russian Fed intervenes. I have no problem with the SP, I think it has potential.
