There are allegations (and i think that they are accurate) that Buyanova is envious of Goncharenko. The whole Buyanova-Goncharenko "conflict" is interesting.

I'm not sure I would call it "interesting." I think I would call it "frustrating," and potentially bad for Lena. :noshake: Buyanova is the head coach at CSKA, which means that she gets a lot of funding, and she gets first pick for ice time and choreographers/specialists. But now that she only has Masha on her team, I'm not sure she can justify that preferential treatment. So I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to poach another high-level skater (maybe that's why she was so defensive of Anna..?) or if she continues to make it tough for Team Goncharenko.

What I thought was much more interesting was the fact that Inna Goncharenko publicly criticized Tarasova for what she said about Kovtun. I thought she and TAT were close, so I was shocked. :shocked: I just hope that it doesn't affect Lena's relationship with TAT.

IIRC, last year TTC, everyone cheered for Evgenia for her skating but Radionova which wasn't there.
Someone said it was because some friction between them, but actually Elena wasnt't there only because she was prepared herself for her skating.

Yes, the fans' comments got so ugly that Evgenia actually had to post on VK and say that Lena left early so that she could prepare for her skate.

So yeah, I hope there's nothing like that next year, and we only get to see stuff like this:

I also love her for the fact that besides being adorable and attractive she is a "capital W warrior". She knows how to fight unlike (cough, Kovtun, cough) some people.
